Dreaming and Building
A friend once told me, "If you can conceive and believe it, you can achieve it." It was some quote from someone. Like his dad or some famous motivation speaker like Tony Robbins. Whatever, It used to annoy me, but every now and then, as I'm imagining the next thing I'm going to build, the quote pops into my head and it makes me chuckle a little. You see, I have the desire to build things.
I started to build a guitar in recent years. I live in an apartment, so building anything is tough in this place, but I have friends that have let me use their yards and so on. Even so, finding the time has been challenging, and since I am learning from scratch, it adds another level of challenge. I do, however, use technology a LOT to help me out. Under My Favorite Links to the right, I have pasted some links to the sites that have helped me a lot. YouTube is an awesome resource. There are some guitar guys and a video of a very enthusiastic silk screener named Ryan.
I set out many years ago to print t-shirts. I started with an easy one color press, and continued to upgrade by building presses that could handle more colors. Eventually, I built a 6-color press and with Ryan's great videos, I was able to learn the art of screen printing. Enjoy the videos.
Music is Life
Along with all the other things I enjoy, making music is one of them. I have recorded some rudimentary songs and posted them on Soundlick.com, a website for the amateur musician to post, sell and share music, or for the avid fan to go and listen.
